Devi
Founder, Devi's Bridal Studio & Devi's Professional Beauty Academy
Devi built her studio in Thiruvanmiyur around one idea: every woman should leave the chair looking like the best version of herself. Brides, dancers, families and stage guests come to the studio for makeup, hair, skin and draping.
The academy shares that work with women who want a skill they can earn from. Lessons follow the studio's own methods, from skin prep and colour matching to the neat Muhurtham bun and the Madisar drape.

Questions
Before you join
No. Beginners and homemakers join every batch. The application asks about earlier training only so the academy can place you well.
They depend on the course and on whether you choose a weekday or weekend, full-time or part-time batch. Message the academy on WhatsApp or apply online and they will share the details for your batch.
The National Diploma Course for Women comes with a Central Government certificate. The Saree Pre-Pleating & Draping Course ends with a certificate of completion. Ask the academy about certification for the other courses.
Diploma students receive a beauty kit (haircut dummy, facial sponge, blackhead remover, mini pedicure set) with beauty products. Hair styling students practise on a provided hair dummy, and saree students practise with premium sarees.
ID proof, address proof, a passport-size photograph and your educational certificate if you have one.
Fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable, so choose your batch timing carefully before paying.
